The Opossum Lodge sits along the western shore of Lake Wissota in Bagley, Wisconsin. We offer simple, comfortable rooms for travelers who want a quiet basecamp — whether you're here for the fishing, the hiking, or simply the silence.
No resort noise. No crowds. Just a clean room, a view of the lake, and the kind of stillness that's harder to find the further south you go.
Simple comfort, done well
Window-facing · natural light
A straightforward room with a view of the water. Queen bed, desk, and everything you need to wake up to the lake without the fuss.
Ground level · private entrance
Steps from the garden path, this room offers a quieter side of the lodge. Double bed, reading corner, and a door that opens to the woods.
Bagley sits at the crossroads of some of Wisconsin's best water and trail systems. From the lodge, you're within reach of Lake Wissota's marinas, the Baraboo Hills trails, and the quiet backroads that make this part of the state worth driving slowly.
Rooms that work for couples, friends, or a small crew heading out for the weekend.
We know the northwoods don't run on a schedule. Reach out and we'll make it work.
A short drive to Baraboo, WI-13 corridor towns, and the heart of the Dells region.
"The best trips aren't the ones with the most stops. They're the ones where you finally have nowhere to be."
— The Opossum Lodge philosophy
We're at 108 S Pier Road in Bagley — right where the road meets the lake. Baraboo is a 15-minute drive north. The Wisconsin Dells are about 20 minutes south. And the water is right outside our door.
We'll get back to you soon
